The Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Wellington (CFAW), a registered charitable trust membership organization, was launched in 1981 when the Archdiocese of Wellington was financially struggling. Over the years since then it has built up reserves and provides financial support by way of an annual grant to the operating budget of the Archdiocese. In addition, it also makes grants and scholarships available each year for a growing number of Catholic organisations and individuals.
Currently there are about 80 members who each pay for a lifelong membership and some make significant bequests too. The number of members has been decreasing in recent times, due to natural attrition, and the Board is keen to attract new and younger members as part of a membership drive. Creating a new website is an integral part of this plan.
The current site was built in 2010 and is showing its age. It’s also difficult to navigate and is not cohesive.
Our Solution: The new website was built on Expert’s MoST platform which provides intuitive navigation and flexibility, whilst also being able to be easily updated by CFAW’s staff.
Expert’s Added Value: New ideas by Expert’s designers provided the freshness CFAW was seeking. Tweaking the colours previously used, and the use of bold new images, gave a totally new look and feel to their website and organisation.
